With over 200 artifacts, from monumental stone stelae to miniature gold ornaments, this gallery highlights ancient civilizations of the region, their influences on one another, and their connection to contemporary cultural practices.

This exhibition, created in conjunction with the Penn Cultural Heritage Center, sheds light on the ongoing destruction of cultural heritage in the Middle East by showing what’s at stake—the rich history of the region and the diversity of its people—and what’s being done to prevent the loss of this history and cultural identity.

In May 2010, the “Tivoli Incursion” resulted in the death of at least 75 civilians in West Kingston on the island of Jamaica. This new exhibition—part art installation, part memorial, and part call to action—sheds light on those events through compelling video and audio footage featuring firsthand accounts of people directly impacted by the violence.

A long-term interactive exhibition that opened at the Penn Museum in March 2014, which challenges visitors to set aside their preconceptions about Native Americans and discover a living tapestry of nations with distinct stories, identities, and contemporary leaders.

12 month exhibition at the Penn Museum that opened in February 2016, developed in partnership with the Republic of Turkey. The exhibition provided visitors a rare chance to view more than 120 dazzling objects, including those from the royal tomb, on special loan from Turkish museums in Ankara, Istanbul, Antalya, and Gordion.

Ancient magic addressed many of the dreams, hopes, and passions that humans grapple with today: desire for health and well-being, protection from evil—even revenge. Magic in the Ancient World takes a survey approach, featuring 81 artifacts from the Penn Museum’s collections. The exhibition explores some of the magical objects, words, and rituals used in ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome.

A new exhibition opening June 24, tells the sometimes enigmatic story of more than 5,000 years of Native American moundbuilding through photographs, archival excavation records, and more than 60 artifacts excavated at mound sites throughout the eastern United States.

Ella Kazoo Will Not Brush Her Hair is a re-imagining of the children's story by Lee Fox about a young girl who would rather do anything than brush her hair. As energetic Ella's hair grows out of control, it becomes necessary for her and her mother to find a solution that makes both of them happy.

Baby Face serves as an illustrated guide for parents of newborns in the raising of a happy and healthy baby. New parents will learn to be able to read and understand their baby’s expressions, how to communicate with and stimulate their baby, and how to maintain a balanced and positive living environment for both parents during this exciting and chaotic time.

Philadelphia Sculptors commissioned complete promotional systems for their 2012 and 2016 exhibitions. Materials created for the exhibitions include logos, 28 page catalogs, posters, invitation cards, and exhibition signage.

The moon and plum wine drinking were both favorite subjects and inspirations for Chinese poets during the Tang Dynasty. In keeping with that tradition, three varieties of Adrift plum wine are offered for your enjoyment, each housed in a custom wood box that contains an illustrated booklet of Chinese Tang Dynasty poetry.

The completed hardcover book, titled SIGNAL – The Diary of Private George A. Morrice is 11” x 13” and 60 pages in length and features Private Morrice’s experiences from deployment to the Battle of the Hindenburg Line.
